Radiation Treatment
There are two methods of Radiation
- Teletherapy or External Beam Radiation
- Brachytherapy or Internal Beam Radiation
External Beam Radiation is better delivered with a Linear Accelerator. In External Beam Radiation, the source is kept away from the patient and the treatment is delivered. There are various Techniques in External Beam Radiation.

- IMRT -Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy
The best techniques to deliver External Beam Radiation is IMRT with minimal side effects maximum treatment can be delivered to the patient.
Then coming to Brachytherapy it is a form of Internal Radiation. Where the source is placed into the tumor or very near the tumor.
Chemotherapy
It is a form of cancer treatment where Chemotherapy Cytotoxic Drugs are inured intravenously or given as oral tablets.
